				- EDUCATION:
Grade 10 minimum
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum one (1) year of experience in an administrative / cash handling role and working with the public.
Previous experience in leading recreation activities and providing direction to participants.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
Must possess a valid Red Cross Standard First Aid/CPR Rescuer 2 Certificate or equivalent.
AODA Customer Service (Servability Training)
Current Automated External Defibrillator (A.E.D.) Operator Certificate
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be available to work staggered hours (i.e. weekdays, evenings, weekends) Must wear City of Ottawa provided jacket/vest, fanny pack and whistle.
KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated confidence as a competent skater (i.e. able to skate forwards, backwards, cross-overs and stops).
Develops a working knowledge of the Department’s facilities and programmes in order to make appropriate referrals to other sites as required.
