- Weekday hours, Feb 1 - 18 to be set in advance. Weekly schedule = maximum of 20 hours/week.
Program will take place either in person or virtual, Every Saturday Feb 19 to June 4, 2022 , 9 am to 5:30 pm+ 2 hour weekly meeting + 12 hours (Flexible schedule) to be set in advance.

- Qualifications we are seeking for the person in this position:
1. Education: Post secondary diploma or degree, preferred.
2. ALP Trainer experience delivering program/activities for City programs or previous YFprogram. Candidates with comparable experience from other program areas will be considered. (for example, Aquatics);
3. Current SFA/CPR C with AED skills;
4. Certified with CORE training, AODA, High Five (PHCD) and Quest (Preferred);
5.Experience leading and facilitating group activities to promote an active and fun learning environment conducive to Youth Future participants.
6. Provide overall supervision and direction for ALP program delivery for YF program,
7. Ensure key objectives for YF program delivery are achieved during the session and YF Instructors are prepared, motivated, and engaged to deliver training components.
8. Very strong organization, planning and communication skills are required for the candidate to be successful in this position.

- Youth Futures, ALP Training Coordinator position oversees the Training team instructors and to provide them with support and/or feedback to ensure quality teaching was happening. The list of duties and tasks are as follows:
1. Complete detailed daily plans for delivery of "Advanced Leadership Program" portion for YF training program. Daily teaching plans must be detailed for both "in person" and "virtual learning" classrooms.
2. Provides translation for program delivery in English and French languages for ALP;
3. Assists in the implementation, operation and evaluation of the program.
4. Communicates program information and changes to participants or staff where appropriate;
5. Assists in the supervision and development of staff as required;
6.Completes reports as required.
7. Ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
8. Responsible for safety and security for program equipment and personel assigned to YF program.
9. Ensures proper storage and availability of equipment and supplies used in the program.
10. Attends staff meetings and training sessions as required.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
