Arena Ushers will be responsible for:

• Greeting clients at the door to educate arena safety measures and facility etiquette;
• Informing participants at the door they will need to wait until designated volunteer (safety officer) arrives ;
• Greet contract holder or assigned volunteer (safety officer) at the door;
• Provide facility details to volunteers and participants;
• Inform and educate clients:
o Facility Directional Flow
o Water Fountains are closed except for filling stations
o Washrooms closed in change rooms… direct them to closest washroom
o Encourage 2 metre distancing, hand sanitizer
o Ensure all clients are wearing masks through in the facility
o Indicate assigned skate tying areas to participants/parents
• Supply safety officer with changeroom key after verifying their pre-screening is complete.
• Remind clients that social areas are not permitted and a continue to educate flow through the lobby.
• Maintain head count for each booking for spectators and participants
• Educate spectators to leave the facility as soon as their booking is complete and wait outside or in their vehicle to allow spectators in for the next booking
• Remind parents/guardians that they have no access to change rooms after their child is read with gear on.
• If any issues arise, observe, inform designated volunteer and supervisor.
