- EDUCATION:One (1) year post-secondary education desirable
EXPERIENCE:Past related experience in staff supervision, staff development and Public Relation skills. Two (2) years relevant experience.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Current Standard 1st Aid/CPR ‘C’.
Current High Five Certification.
Appropriate certification in related discipline an asset
LANGUAGE:Bilingualism an asset
KNOWLEDGE:City of Ottawa Policies and Procedures. Demonstrated awareness of Safety/Security of programmes
COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Candidates must be mature and possess excellent public relations, leadership, communication and organizational skills
-Ability to work in a team setting or independently
-Must have experience in training, supervision of staff and volunteers
-Computer competency necessary
-Effective written/oral communication skills
