- EDUCATION: Grade 11
EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated programming experience in a recreational or applicable setting. One (1) year relevant experience.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Current Standard 1st Aid/CPR ‘C’
LANGUAGE: Bilingualism an asset
KNOWLEDGE: City of Ottawa Policies and Procedures. Demonstrated awareness of Safety/Security of programmes
COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Ability to work in a team setting or independently
• Ability to train, supervise staff and volunteers
• Computer competency preferred
• Must possess excellent public relations, leadership, communication and organizational skills
PERSONAL SUITABILITY: • Flexibility
• Creative intuition
• Skilled Communicator
CRIMINAL/POLICE RECORDS CHECK: Required
TRANSPORTATION: Occasional Access to reliable transportation to perform job duties and/or Valid Driver’s License
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Educational background in Recreation or other related experience an asset
