- Up to 14 hours of daytime hours per week, program dependent. Occasional evenings and weekends.

- Qualifications / Qualités requises
- The Program Administrator, Arts is responsible for the design, development, execution, and evaluation of CASE arts programs. The Program Administrator, Arts is responsible for securing and allocating resource materials, program venues, volunteers, artists, and equipment. Liaises with partners, secures sponsorships and coordinates marketing materials and program promotion.
The Program Administrator, Arts is responsible for:
Design, development, execution, and evaluation of CASE arts programs.
Day-to-day program support including:
Developing evaluation criteria and methodology
Maintaining partnerships and securing sponsorships
Ensuring adequate promotional material for participants and the public
Conducting outreach and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Organizing submission materials for selection committees
Securing selection committee members
Overseeing the in-take of artwork, installation of an exhibition and return of artwork
Completing artist agreements and assisting with payments
Maintaining and archiving files
Administration and customer service including:
Monitoring program email and Instagram account and responding to artist and public inquiries.
Using administration tools including Microsoft 365 SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Soundcloud, Canva and Instagram
Adhering to program timelines
Education
College, or university student enrolled and /or practicing in the following disciplines: theatre, dance, music, visual, literary, media arts.
Experience
Minimum 2 years practicing and/or teaching experience in related discipline, and have the
technical skills and training required to safely use specialized equipment.
Completion of health and safety training required by legislation and by the Corporation of the City of Ottawa.
Certificate & Licenses
Current Standard First Aid, CPR C and AED certification
AODA Customer Service /IASR Training
Knowledge
Excellent knowledge of local arts community and gallery settings an asset
Program design, development and evaluation
Project management practices
Performs work in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all City of Ottawa corporate/departmental policies and procedures
related to Occupational Health and Safety.
Competencies/Skills & Abilities
Very good English oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Bilingualism is an asset
Strong knowledge and experience using program specific tools and equipment, including Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ActiveNET, Soundcloud, Canva and Instagram)
Customer service and programming skills to work with diverse groups
