- Qualifications:
- Experience working with youth from diverse communities
- Experience supervising staff in a recreation environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with youth and build relationships.
- Creativity and ability to develop engaging and age-appropriate programs.
- Organizational skills to plan and execute events and activities.
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to collaborate with partners.
Up-to-date qualifications in CPR-C, AED, Standard First Aid, Core Training, AODA Accessibility for All, Violence and Harassment in the Workplace Training are required upon hire/assignment of permanent shift. If multiple staff express interest in these shifts, the most senior and qualified employees will be given first consideration for shift vacancies.
